PTFE O rings are resistant to a number of chemicals including steam, acids, bases, oils, etc. is best known for its low-friction property It has exhibits high corrosion resistance, high resilience, and high melting temperature and abrasive resistance resulting in slippery surface properties that make it advantageous for use in seals in moving systems such as valves. Usually it is not recommended for high vacuum seals and low compression vacuum sealing flanges. PTFE O-Rings do not have the compliance of rubber O-rings. To ease assembly, the cross sectional squeeze should be reduced relative to that specified for rubber.

Teflon O-Rings

PTFE / Teflon O-Rings have an excellent resistance to almost all chemicals including most acids, gases, alkakis, solvents, bases, oils, steam and many other chemicals. The material is very tough and abrasion resistant.

Teflon O-Rings are an ideal solution for sealing applications where there are high temperatures and corrosive liquids or gases involved.

PTFE O-Rings Have Excellent resistance to almost all chemicals Low coefficient of friction. Can be use in food, chemical and medical industries.

Temprature Range :Up to 260°C (continiuos), Down to -200°C

Available Range : Micro Seals offers a wide range of standard, custom and metric sizes PTFE O-Rings produced From Virgin grade and reinforced fillers such as glass, carbon, graphite and bronze.
PTFE rings are available up to 48" OD.
